Jeg hedder Sanne Almeborg og er bosiddende i den østlige del af Aalborg sammen med min mand og min datter. Jeg er uddannet psykoterapeut og medlem af Dansk Psykoterapeutforening.

Jeg har det meste af mit voksne liv interesseret mig for og beskæftiget mig med personlige og faglige udviklingsprocesser – i privat praksis som psykoterapeut, supervisor og underviser, og på Aalborg Universitet som underviser, vejleder, uddannelsesudvikler, eksaminator og censor.

Jeg har siden 2012 specialiseret mig i intensiv dynamisk korttidsterapi (Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, forkortet ISTDP), således at denne metode i dag er min primære. Jeg har tillige uddannet mig til supervisor og underviser i ISTDP. Fra 2016 til 2019 var jeg formand for Dansk Selskab for Intensiv Dynamisk Korttidsterapi. Jeg er i Advanced Supervision hos Allan Abbass samt Advanced Training and Supervision hos Jon Frederickson.

Via mit arbejde med intensiv dynamisk korttidsterapi blev jeg mere og mere nysgerrig på, hvordan centralnervesystemet samt kommunikationen mellem strukturer i hjernen spiller en væsentlig rolle ift. menneskers kapacitet til selvregulering. I 2017 begyndte jeg derfor uddannelse ved EEGInfo-Europe i Tyskland i neurofeedback, som er en særlig form for træning af hjernen. Gennem neurofeedback støttes udviklingen af neurale netværk, så kapaciteten til selvregulering forbedres. Jeg arbejder med neurofeedback både som selvstændig behandlingsindsats og som supplement til psykoterapi. Jeg får supervision hos EEGInfo samt EEGInstitute.

Via mit arbejde med behandling af angst med intensiv dynamisk korttidsterapi blev jeg desuden optaget af, hvordan god fleksibilitet i det autonome nervesystem spiller en afgørende rolle for menneskers velbefindende og kapacitet til selvregulering. Det ledte mig frem til Stephen Porges’ arbejde med den polyvagale teori og hans lydterapi “Safe and Sound Protocol”. Jeg har i 2019 og 2020 uddannet mig hos Integrated Listening Systems og er certificeret til at arbejde med Safe and Sound Protocol. Jeg arbejder med Safe and Sound Protocol både som selvstændig behandlingsindsats og som supplement til psykoterapi. Jeg får supervision hos Integrated Listening Systems.
